Sledging fun

Sledging paradise...

Sledging in the Jungfrau Region

In the Alpine region we have been using it as a means of transport in winter since the early days. This device, also called a sledge, consists of two runners and a frame. Today, however, we no longer need it for transporting hay and wood, but as a sport and fun device. Instead, we use it for sledging down a slope in the Jungfrau Region in the Bernese Oberland. Sure, it’s much more fun. In the Jungfrau Region, sledging is simply part of the skiing holiday.

Night sledging

The sun has long since gone to sleep. Darkness everywhere. Everywhere? Not quite. Numerous sledging runs are brightly lit by floodlight and perfectly prepared for sledging in the Bernese Oberland. Whether you want to combine the sledging trip with a winter hike and climb the mountain on foot, or prefer the more leisurely option and take the cable car or other means of transport to the starting point of the sledge run: Night sledging in the Bernese Oberland is guaranteed to be a pure enjoyment of nature, speed and fun!
