A large part of the Eiger Lodge underwent renovation for nine months. On December 19, we were able to open the doors to the new premises. 🥂
Lounge & Reception
One of the biggest changes in our renovation is our completely new lounge, which adjoins the reception area, which has also been refurbished. The renovation has not only allowed us to modernize, enlarge, and brighten the interior, but also to create a uniform appearance for the Eiger Lodge buildings from the outside. In the lobby, you will find new, comfortable lounges, plenty of tables for eating, working, or playing games, as well as a great view of the surrounding mountain landscape.
Sauna
One of the absolute highlights of our renovation is definitely our new sauna area! With a large Finnish sauna and a relaxation room with a view of the Eiger, you can really wind down after long days on the slopes. Whether you want to warm up after a day of sports, prevent sore muscles, or simply enjoy a little time to yourself, our sauna area offers the ideal retreat. As a guest of the Eiger Lodge, you can enjoy relaxation at a special price of CHF 10 for a 2-hour slot.
New showers & traverse from Easy to Chic
The communal showers in the Eiger Lodge Easy have also been renovated. Our guests can now enjoy completely refurbished, modern shower cubicles. A large family shower completes the offering.
Another new feature is the passageway connecting the “Easy” and “Chic” buildings. This connects both hotel buildings, allowing all guests to go directly to the breakfast buffet on rainy days without leaving the hotel.
