Autumn is the best time of year to slowly get back in shape for the next trail running season. In Grindelwald, the trails are almost empty at this time of year, the temperatures are pleasant, and the autumn light is incomparable. Homecoming of the cows
When the alpine grazing season comes to an end, our mountain farmers bring their cows back down to the villages. These so-called Alpine Downtours are celebrated—often with cows that have been beautifully groomed and decorated with floral arrangements—to mark the successful conclusion of the alpine grazing season.
